Anatomy
What Is on a BP Receipt
Most BP stations in the US are run by independent retailers under the BP brand, so the receipt comes from the station's own register and is headed with the station's name and address. The fuel prints as one line for the pump: the pump number and grade, with the gallons and posted price per gallon underneath. If you are an earnify member and paid in the app, swiped a linked card, or entered your loyalty ID, the always-on 5 cents per gallon discount comes off and the receipt shows the savings. Inside items like a coffee land on the same ticket when you pay at the counter, and in Florida they are the only taxed lines, because fuel is not subject to sales tax there. The example is a pay-inside fill-up at an Orlando station. Swap in your own station, grade, gallons, and price and it becomes a receipt you can print or save.
- Station header
- The station's business name with BP in it, then the street address and phone. BP sites are mostly independently operated, so this is who holds the record of the sale.
- Register block
- The register, transaction number, and cashier for a sale paid inside at the counter.
- Fuel line
- PUMP 06 REGULAR at the fuel amount, with the gallons and posted price per gallon on a note line and the earnify discount below it.
- Store items and tax
- A coffee and a breakfast sandwich, the only lines the sales tax applies to, so the tax prints as an amount with no rate.
- Card and loyalty
- The card, how it was read, the auth code, and the amount, then the masked earnify loyalty ID and the savings for the visit.

Lost receipt
Lost Your BP Receipt?
For a pump or counter purchase, the station that sold you the fuel is the place to ask, since most BP sites are independently operated and keep their own records. If you paid for fuel in the earnify app, the receipt is already saved there.
- 1Open the earnify app. Every transaction completed through earnify has a mobile receipt in the app, showing the savings applied to the fuel purchase.
- 2Check the Rewards section of your earnify account for a list of past fuel purchases and the amount saved on each.
- 3For a pump or counter purchase, call or visit the station with the pump number, date, time, amount, and the last four digits of your card, and ask whether they can reprint the receipt.
- 4Use your card or bank statement as a backup record of the station, date, and amount.

How Does the earnify Discount Show on a BP Receipt?
earnify members get 5 cents off per gallon every time they pay in the earnify app, swipe a linked payment card, or enter their loyalty ID at the pump, and BP says the receipt shows the savings applied. The example prints it as a discount line under the fuel: 0.57 on 11.486 gallons.
What Happened to BPme Rewards?
BP replaced BPme Rewards with earnify in 2024. earnify keeps a fuel discount and adds points: 1 point per dollar spent on fuel and 2 points per dollar on store items, at participating BP and Amoco stations.
How Do I Get a Copy of a BP Gas Receipt?
If you paid in the earnify app, every fuel transaction has a mobile receipt in the app. Otherwise ask the station that sold you the fuel, with the pump number, date, time, and the last four digits of your card, and keep your card statement as a backup record.
