What Is on a Lyft Receipt
A Lyft receipt is short because Lyft folds most of the price into one line. When you get an upfront price, the base rate, the service fee, and expected tolls all sit inside the Lyft fare, with the distance and ride time in parentheses after it. Charges Lyft collects for someone else still get their own lines: rideshare taxes, airport fees, and in New York the Black Car Fund surcharge and sales tax. The tip and the card that paid come next, then the ride type, the pickup and drop-off times, and the ride ID. Lyft emails the receipt once payment goes through, which can take up to 24 hours, and the same receipt stays in Ride history in the app. The example is a Standard ride from Park Slope, Brooklyn, to Astoria, Queens. Change the ride and it becomes a receipt you can print or save.

Keep the Black Car Fund and sales tax for a New York ride, or change them to the taxes and airport fees your city adds, then enter the tip.

Lost receipt
Lost Your Lyft Receipt?
Lyft emails a receipt to the address in your app settings once a ride's payment is processed, which can take up to 24 hours. Every ride also stays in Ride history in the app, going back as far as October 2014.
- 1Open the app menu, tap Ride history, and tap the ride to see its receipt, including the line items under Payment.
- 2To have receipts emailed again, tap Export on iPhone or the download icon on Android in Ride history, select the rides, and tap Send report. Lyft sends a Ride Report email with a receipt for each one.
- 3Search your inbox for Lyft. Receipts come from an address ending in @lyftmail.com, @lyft.com, or @lyft.zendesk.com, so check spam and the email address in your app settings.
- 4If you pay daily, your statement shows one combined charge with lyft.com/charges, and the daily ride receipt breaks out each ride inside it.

Why Does My Lyft Receipt Show Only One Fare Line?
When Lyft quotes an upfront price, the base rate, service fee, and expected tolls are combined into the single Lyft fare line. Third-party charges such as rideshare taxes, surcharges, and airport fees still appear on the receipt.
Where Is the Ride ID on a Lyft Receipt?
It is the 19-digit number on the emailed ride receipt. It is unique to that ride, so it is the reference to give Lyft support or to match in a Lyft Business report.
How Do I Export Several Lyft Receipts at Once?
In Ride history, tap Export on iPhone or the download icon on Android, select the rides, and tap Send report. Lyft emails you a Ride Report with a receipt for each ride you picked.
Why Does My Bank Show One Lyft Charge for Several Rides?
With daily payments, Lyft combines a day's rides into one charge that reads like Lyft 3 rides with the date and lyft.com/charges. The daily ride receipt still lists what each ride cost.
